Another Sonic ROM hack playthrough! This one is officially titled the 'Lost Worlds' and is a ROM hack available on the Steam workshop for the second game in the series. This hacked version allows us to play many of the infamous cut levels for Sonic 2. These levels, such as the 'Wood' zone were all based on code found inside the game before its release, as well as promotional screenshots for the title which show the cut 'Sandy Shower' zone as an example.

Fun fact! you may recognize the first level already as the basic concepts were inspired and reused much later down the line for the two 'Mirage Saloon' levels in Sonic Mania.
