Sonic Chronicles the Dark Brotherhood part 24
1Welcome back to Sonic Chronicles,
This time we start our exploration of the Voxai Colony β which is the home of the psychic Voxai which communicate through telepathy and are a semi- hivemind species which are controlled via psychic suggestions given to them by the Overmind located on the second part of the colony which we won't see this video.
After landing we find that thanks to the Chaos Emeralds on the Cyclone we are not as susceptible to their mind control, we then explore the colony where we find that because of the Overmind the Voxai are either very silent, or hostile when we come into their homes.
After a bit we are greeted by a Voxai who has resisted the assimilation into the hive from the Overmind: Thebes, Thebes invites us into his home where he promises to help us get the Chaos Emeralds located on the colony and in the possession of the Overmind.
When we get to Thebes home he explains to us that the Overmind changed from a benevolent voice that helped making good decisions for all the Voxai, into a malevolent voice that is only out for itself, because Ix gave them a Chaos Emerald.
We make our way to the entrance into the Voxai Colony α where we are stopped by one of the dominated Voxai citizens which used to be a friend of Thebes: Thelxe.
After we defeat them Thebes gives us the reason he was able to hide from the Overmind, a Chaos Emerald, since he trusts that we can stop the Overmind and return them to normal.
