On November 30th 2022, Sonic Team announced an official “Update Roadmap” in which, throughout the course of the next year, they’d be releasing 3 updates that would add a bunch of brand new content, and to finish it all off, a final story. Update 3 has now been released, and with that, the game’s life cycle is completed. Unless they suddenly announce a secret Update 4, Frontiers is done. So I think it’s time to take a second look.
