Sonic Mania is a true love letter to the Sonic franchise. It has almost everything a fan of the 2D games would want.

As a wise Youtuber once said, it's made by fans but it isn't a fan game and this is so true. It's a truly wonderful game that I can't recommend enough (and this is coming from someone who loves Sonic CD).

Even if you aren't a fan of the series, you should still try it out. It's the definitive 2D Sonic experience.
