Sonic the Unstoppable HD | Pixeled Parodies
36So this was my latest project back in my Newgrounds years. Compared to all my previous works, it looks the most professional through it's animation, taking on something different than Mario parodies over and over and over again, and for the first time... voice acting. It was garbage. The acting was garbage, the dialogue was garbage, and the delivery was garbage. This was a new learning curve though, so I didn't dwell on it. I would write scripts for future sprite projects that I had in mind... before I was too busy with college and other kinds of real life obstacles that got in the way. Also... there was a thing that changed my online career that still continues. I don't know... something to do with Ponies...
Some of you who stuck around for a while may have noticed that this is the third time I have uploaded this. The other parodies that I had made before were uploaded once. In 2016, however, I rereleased this in a 1080p format before, but it was left forgotten after a while. I'm guessing it wasn't released at a good time. Not to mention I was using Crush 40's music, and I didn't want to risk any Copyright issues with them. I already had an ugly past experience with this encounter one too many times. So instead I used the game's original soundtrack, which was more appropriate anyway. It's part of the game I am parodying, and Sega would really have to pick at straws if they would take issue in using dated 16-Bit music. Oh and YouTube still doesn't have that "Video Replacement" feature, so it would be stuck that way and would have to reupload as a new video. Still dumb, YouTube. That needs to be fixed.
Anyone who hasn't seen this yet, I hope you find this... somewhat entertaining. I don't consider this as good as Wild Pokémon Encounter, but I do take some pride in this. The voice work as I mentioned previously is utter trash, but I hope the battle was fun to watch as well as the corny punchline at the end.
