Sonic World DX - Complete Playthrough [Marathon Mode]
18Hello & welcome back! Sonic fangames are always amazing to witness and fun to play, this video is no different with a full run of the Christmas SAGE 2023 edition of Sonic World DX. Being geared towards the Dreamcast gameplay fans and having been in development by different faces over the years, it's now at a point of being close to completion, with 2 different modes to play the main stages and the return of an Island hubworld and the Chao garden.
We'll be playing all but the final 'Egg Gate' encore act of the available levels in the main game, I really wanted to put the last level in, but kept getting memory errors when loading up the level. World DX is centred around bringing back a huge number of levels previously depicted in Sonic, featuring zones and stages from over 30 years of titles that perhaps exceeds the fan service that Generations gave to us.
As a disclaimer, you may notice performance issues in a few of the levels like Rusty Ruin which is mostly caused by pushing the BlitzSonic engine to its limit. Viewing is best at 1080p too, while having been accidentally rendered in 4K, the resolution isn't natively available currently. Team credits were also meant to be displayed at the end as usual but I completely forgot about adding them in!
