11In this part, we learn more about Avalanche's goal and learn how to play the Mini-Game, Fort Condor. We then meet Old Snapper who has us look for the six Happy Turtle Newsletters throughout Sector 7, in which we locate two. Afterwards, we meet up with Chadley before being notified to return to the hideout. Once back inside we meet up with our new party member, Sonon, then further explore Sector 7.

- Fort Condor has become a Mini-Game now and our goal is to destroy the enemy HQ before they destroy ours. I find the easiest way to do this is to use all of our spells directly on the enemy HQ when the match begins, then send a Helitrooper to the far left or right, on the side that doesn't have an enemy nearby. If you don't have a Helitrooper, place a Guard Dog in the farthest back corner on the side that doesn't have an enemy nearby. Once the Helitrooper/Guard Dog reaches the nearest Tower, your line of advance will push forward allowing you to spawn units closer to the HQ. Summon a Riot Trooper and a Blast-Ray directly in front of the enemy HQ to attack it, and them a Guard Dog as well when you can. This will normally result in a win.
- Upon winning a Fort Condor Match, we obtain new units (only the first time defeating an opponent) and Condor Coins, which are the currency used to purchase Fort Condor related items. After defeating additional opponents, we will level up our Fort Condor Skills and receive new Sorcerer Boards which we use to play Fort Condor, these Boards will change our abilities in the mini-game such as what kinds of spells we can use at the beginning, and how many ATB gauges we have access to.
- The Fort Condor Starter Pack comes with our first six cards: Security Officer, Guard Dog, Grenadier, Slug-Ray, Riot Trooper, and Blast-Ray.
- Defeating Polk in the Tutorial game of Fort Condor will award us one Condor Coin, Sorcerer Board I, our 7th Unit, the Sentry Gun Prototype, and our 8th Unit, the Helitrooper.
- Defeating Kyrie in Fort Condor will award us two Condor Coins, and our 9th Unit, the Elite Security Officer.
