Sony Backs Down From Helldivers 2 PSN Controversy, But The Damage Is Done..
2,414This past weekend has been a chaotic one for PlayStation, Arrowhead, Steam, and PC gamers. Recently it was announced that PSN account linking would be a requirement to play Helldivers 2 on Steam, and the PC audience did not take kindly to that news. It's been a rollercoaster of review bombing, unclear answers from Arrowhead, and genuine concerns for the PSN requirement when it isn't even available in countries where the game is sold. But now Sony has responded, and they're walking back the requirement completely. A surprising move, no doubt. That reminds me of the time where someone beat me in Chess. My opponent made a lot of moves, that were unsurprising in nature. I lost, handedly. And that, was also unsurprising. Uhhh.. democracy or something.
