South Park (1999) Iguana-Acclaim Entertainment - Turok 2 engine - Playing crappy games 2
19(English below) Se me ha ocurrido inaugurar una sección en el canal en el que juego a juegos cutres, mediocres o directamente malos. Aunque considero este el número 2 porque ya tengo un vídeo dedicado a un juego cutre en el canal: Bad Toys.
South Park es un FPS estrenado en 1998 en Nintendo 64, con este port para PC lanzado al año siguiente. Se trata del primer videojuego basado en la famosa e irreverente serie de animación, y no podía haber tenido peor comienzo. Es un juego feo (esas cuevas...), repetitivo, aburrido, con mal diseño de niveles etc. Ni siquiera hace gracia. Lo único que me parece decente es la música.
Parece mentira que sea de los creadores de la saga Turok, quienes, por cierto, utilizaron el motor del segundo juego del cazador de dinosaurios en este juego. Esa niebla es inconfundible (y eso que en el juego original es peor, pues uso un mod que la aumenta, aunque la pongo en medio porque en la opción más alta se producen errores gráficos).
En fin, afortunadamente en la actualidad tenemos algún buen juego de South Park, yo recomiendo especialmente The Stick of Truth.

It's the first videogame based on the famous and irreverent animated series, and it couldn't have had a worse start. It's an ugly game (those caves...), repetitive, boring, with bad level design etc.. It's not even funny. The only thing I find decent is the music.
It seems unbelievable that it is from the creators of the Turok series, and by the way, they used the engine of the second dinosaur hunter game in this one. That fog is unmistakable (and that in the original game is worse, because I use a mod that increases it, although I put it in the middle because the highest option gives graphical glitches).
Anyway, fortunately nowadays we have some good South Park games, I especially recommend The Stick of Truth.
