This strategy can be used for 14% Gravity-Ice speedruns on the way back after Draygon out of Maridia on the way to Red Brinstar through the door in the ceiling of the Everest room. This strategy is roughly 4 to 5 seconds faster than doing a Gravity-Jump from one of the pencil shaped hills or the left angled hill side. Obviously one can fall quicker onto the right hill plateau and one can center the screen further for entering the ceiling door (but since these aspects are rather self-explanatory, neither of these aspects were the focus of the video), but the purpose of this video was just to provide a general outline of this strategy. By morphing within short time and shortly after starting to jump and just before the pause menu is entered, one can keep a good amount of the horizontal movement speed for the jump after Gravity is turned off. In case one bonks against the Grapple block platform along the jump's path one may still be able to continue with a backup in which case one would start a diagonal Gravity-Bombjump from the platform surface or at a suitable height above it towards the platform beneath the top door. Depending on one's control layout, it may be quite tough to perform, however. Other than that, some nicknames I could think of for this trick would be ''The Flying Dutchman'' (my favourite), or rather his cannonball although in this case they'd both be the same as the Dutchman turns into the cannonball (or ''E-Dragonball Leap'', which I'll keep in here because I like the reference that emerges from it, though I prefer giving tricks names that contain information about their execution & describe them).
