Spyro: Year of the Dragon is third game of the original trilogy as well as the final game in the reignited trilogy. This masterclass of platforming shenanigans begins as the dragon world slumbers dreaming of the take over of all the plains of existence and ruling with a iron claw ( there dreaming of the perfect desert after dinner). When suddenly a mysterious bunny with years of magical prowess steals the would be next generation of fire creating divine beings (baby dragons) Spyro being the hero he is leaps into action vowing to return a conqueror and savior of the yet to hatch. Spyro: Year of the Dragon platforming pays tribute to the previous tittles traveling through obstacles that require tight timing and precise movements while at the same time adding new elements that make the game more difficult and more fun. The other major change is the ability to play as other characters from the brutal kicking Aussie with a pension for hoping to the old soldier that can fly through the skies which adds a new layer to already enveloping game play.
