Starfield's BIGGEST EVER Patch has gone live, and the changes to visuals and lighting are dramatic!
Update 1.9.51.0 (aka The Lighting Patch! 😂) has also removed our pet rocks from following us through space. What I am not seeing anywhere in the patch notes is a mention of these quest and progress blockers being made retroactive. Without this addition, players have to sort back through previous save files to try to find one PRIOR to the bug happening! This means that potentially, a player could lose hundreds of hours of progress to begin a quest again. The other possibility is to NG+ the sucker, but that brings about a whole other set of issues to work around.
Also, I appreciate the team working to push out over 100 fixes and improvements to the game, but right now, Starfield needs homeruns! It needs a MAJOR change or improvement for everyone of these upcoming patches. Performance Mode, better space travel, less loading screens, the Creation Kit, new ways to travel...the list is extensive. If the team at BGS can do this, Starfield stands a real chance.
