Tip #1 - Save your file regularly
Tip #2 - Practice in Explore Difficulty to be able to beat the game quickly and to know where the items are located and which items you should pick up or not and when you should drop them.
Tip #3 - You can use the other victims as a distraction for the butcher.
Tip #4 - The backpack and the flashlight are very helpful
Tip #5 - Try to have the Revolver always load and equip in case the butcher is coming for you.
Tip #6 - If you don't have the Revolver or Ammo, and the Killer is running toward you run into the ventilation.
Tip#7 - If the Killer is near you without spotting you try to hide in the ventilation or under a bed without any light in the room.
Tip #8 - Never run except if the Killer spots you.
Tip #9 - Don't forget to eat and drink if necessary and to use a bandage if you lose blood
