The Hyper Core is located in an ancient ruin called Altess Leviore. After earning entry by proving her might to the guardian of the abandoned facility, EVE descends into its depths. Only to find that her primary weapon, her sword, is useless. Not only that, but the same phenomenon inhibits the Drone's scanning ability. Leaving her both effectively blind to unseen threats, and vulnerable at close range. Fortunately, Lily's firearm upgrade for the drone still works. Within Altess Leviore is a strange research facility filled with evidence that humanity may have been studying the Naytiba threat before they broke out and contaminated the whole lab.
