How do you make a Stellaris timelapse? Quick guide for you:
-Start a new game, non-ironman.
-Open the console command window using (~) Tilda button, or top left button on your keyboard usually below the ESC key.
-Type "observe". This will allow you to view the galaxy!
-Center your camera above the galaxy's center, and open the command console once again. Type "nogui".
-Congratulations! Now you need to increase the speed and hit pause. Better results can also be achieved by inputting "overnight" into your command console. As advised, leave the game on overnight.
