It made sense to me to continue moving on from Metroid Dread into another Metroid game so I could have a bit more of a rounded Metroid experience. Since Super Metroid is often considered one of the great old ones, and I had access to it through the Nintendo Online service, i decided to try it out!
I do often forget, however, that I struggle a lot with old-game-jank lol. Despite some frustrations at times, I am very glad I played this game, and the ending of my playthrough still sticks with me, hehe.
