When Nintendo and Silicon Graphics Inc. first announced Project Reality back in the mid-1990s, they sold it as a way to get arcade-perfect ports on a home console. In fact, they made it a point to highlight Cruis'n USA as one of the games that would be faithfully adapted on the Nintendo 64. While a lot of the arcade game was successfully brought home, there's one crucial element the didn't make the cut -- the politically-charged ending. And that's true of most of the Cruis'n series.
