In this mission, we have to survive against the enemy attack. It will happen during the night, where there is poor visibility. You want to build hay bale launchers onto your engine towers (these have wooden platforms onto them) to light the way in the swamps. You don't really need to fire the hay bale launcher at the far end on the map, but only near and along your walls where the enemy is likely to go.

You also want to build chandler's workshops here to sell the candle you make and to buy more wood. Keep selling candles to buy more wood for your weapon production needs or to build more chandler's workshops to be able to sell more candles. Since you cannot farm wood here in this map, your only choice is to sell candles to buy wood.

Tip: Place your archers behind hoardings as they provide A LOT of cover against ranged attacks (i.e. against enemy archers). They are the equivalent of crenulated walls back in Stronghold 1, however these hoardings cost 150 wood to build.

If your wall section is destroyed, do not panic. You can line it up with man traps and then position some archers at the back. Since this area is illuminated, there's no need to throw in a hay bale as well. The archers should automatically shoot down anyone who breaches your walls.
