This time we take apart of vintage cartridge for the Super Nintendo the Super Gameboy and the results are absolutely fascinating. We cleaned the contact pads and checked each for continuity, adding conformal coating protecting those worn areas of the solder mask and silk screen.
The cartridge plays immediately no need to blow on the cartridge to get it to work. We knew the gameboy games tested would work flawlessly. We tested the games functionality on the Super Gameboy vs the GameCube Gameboy Player. Similar artifacts and graphical glitches including controller lag.
End results the cartridge works flawlessly, the games tested all were first gen gameboy games and it seems many just have issues that our adapters show immediately their faults. So in conclusion the Gameboy Player vs the Super Gameboy comparison on original gameboy games are so close but this is the most cost effective device to add gameboy games to your collection without needing the handheld console to enjoy your favorite game or play those you haven't seen before the sky's the limit on the future of vintage gaming!
