Greetings fellow gamers! This is Gamer Guy (In a Suit) from the Echo Army YouTube channel! Today I am bringing you a review of the newest iteration of a Dungeons & Dragons PC game, Sword Coast Legends. Sword Coast Legends was released onto Steam on October 19th, 2015 by Developer n-Space and Publisher Digital Extremes.

(NOTE: This game was NOT reviewed using a key provided by the Developer and/or Publisher, it was a game I purchased for my own account)

The "Too Long, Didn't Watch" Review:

Excellent RPG/Software. You can run a true campaign with this, complete with ability to be Dungeon Master.
5/5 and a MUST. Well worth $40, a STEAL at $20 (right now!!)

The "Meat & Potatoes" Review:

I don't know about any of you, but I have waited for this type of D&D game for AGES. You are all in luck if you are watching this video shortly after upload, as there is a FREE Weekend on Steam RIGHT NOW for this gem. Let's get ONE thing out of the way first. This is NOT a direct translation of D&D to PC. This is a CRPG set in the D&D Forgotten Realms universe. What makes this game so awesome is that it is, on it's own merit, a solid RPG. The gameplay is easy to settle into, the characters are fun and fantastic. The music and the voices (perhaps a bit redundant) are of good quality. The character creation, important in any respectable RPG, is superb. I like the Races and Classes available as well as the various customizations you can make to your appearance. You also pick your weapon setup, and how you want to progress your skills and abilities. The Story mode is great with a solid story (the solo campaign was created by members of the same team that brought us Dragon Age: Origins). All of this alone makes for a solid RPG worth your time and money. A big solo campaign to suck hours of your life away, what more can any RPG'er want? Making your own dungeons and campaigns, right? Maybe playing friend's user-made dungeons and campaigns? Yep. You can do those things too. And not just do them, you can do them right with the interface provided. Making these dungeons for a crawl is really very easy to pull off. SO, that certainly makes it worth it. Now what else can you want...Ah, to play with friends! Yes, you can play Online Multiplayer with your friends, making this an absolute blast. But wait, like a bad infomercial, there is more! This game actually features a proper Dungeon Master mode. Not only can you design the campaign and dungeon, you can run it right just like a true DM. Seriously. There is not enough time and space to cover how awesome this is.

5/5. Go to Steam RIGHT NOW for the FREE WEEKEND. Then, grab it at 50% off and send me a thanks later.

Happy Gaming!
