Now since the game is in early access I know most things are not in the game especially sounds but its really hard to play any length of time when there isn't any place holders, because for the entirety of my playthrough, my eye lids got heavy and heavier over the course of having to listen to only the mellow music, which made it very difficulty to test and go through the game.

OK we got pass why its not ready for consumption but what do I think of the game and the game's mechanic? I believe the game has potential, I can see what they are going for and it works, only if they can finish and get out of early access and not be a unfinished pile of dung like their previous game (Im looking at you Krater) that was made before this, although BloodsportTV was great I loved it but it was short lived.

You can't go wrong with X-Com style action, since it is now the baseline for most turn base tactical nowadays, all you can do is add a little more flavour which Blackfox Studios did, the whole tug of war on morale is a nice touch, although I can't help but think that it only really punish the losing side without making it a fun experience, instead of losing morale because someone died on your team or taking damage, there needed to be more elements that cause the morale to drop or to be gained, when I look at the people of Dreadlands, I think of savagery, a uncivilised community of people who are bunch of brain dead fools, making most of their words through loud disgruntles growls, like how they speak behind those gas mask, so I assume bigger they are the more fear is put into their foes just by being around them, roars and battle cries that would shiver any mortal or simply the harsh environment would cause any beast to waver under the condition they are not familiar with like the Scrappers who are the newcomers, of course this could be their plan in the future later down in production but who knows, only they know.

I do hate RNG when it comes to chance to hit but Dreadlands percentage is too generous, especially if getting shot leaves you at a 100% disadvantage, not only do you lose an action point you also bleed for 3-4 turns, annoyingly its already enough to kill your guy and not to mention how tight the supplies can be to heal/revive/reload/repair, now the price and reward will most likely be tweaked but I do hope they consider it properly, since it can be the definition on how the difficulty changes and the enjoyment of survival in a wastelands.

Now it is always fun to have you own base of operations, only if its a place of progress to see your tribe grow and become different, fearful than the other tribes, and not be a hub of idle emptiness, which I hope isn't the case in the final release but I do like how it looks different depending what faction you picked, like how your crew are different from each faction, as one favours more on tattoo markings and nature while the other prefers heavy metal but at this point the differences are barely noticeable, as most type of units pretty much play exactly the same, however I do see Tribe-Kin favours more on animals while Scrappers favour more armoured and crazier men so there are in some degrees of differences in terms of unit types.

Lastly I feel where the state the game is in now, it should of been closed off and tested internally since the content right now is pretty weak and may stave off future buyers but that is just my opinion.
