0Let's play Repentance! The Binding of Isaac: Repentance release date is here! Welcome to Repentance: MEGA SATAN!! The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is the FINAL DLC to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, made to come after Afterbirth and The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth PLUS. This will be the last Isaac DLC - dev Edmund McMillen has said that he may make The Binding of Isaac: 2, but he wishes to take some time of from the game before making a Binding of Isaac Sequel.
BOI Repentance features 130+ new Repentance items, 120+ new Binding of Isaac Repentance enemies, and for Repentance new characters you've got Bethany and Jacob - and maybe secret characters as well! Repentance Bethany gameplay is unlocked by completing Lazarus hard mode without dying, while it's not clear yet how to unlock Jacob. (I can’t wait to try out Jacob gameplay!). For Repentance Let's Play we'll be digging into all the new features - Repentance also features a new ending, and over 7000 new Repentance rooms - and there's much more below!
Repentance will work with Afterbirth+ - or more correctly NEEDS Afterbirth+ to work - you do need ALL Rebirth Binding of Isaac DLC to play Repentance. If you follow the instructions properly (always ask if you're not sure), you shouldn't have to worry about losing those hard-earned 3 MILLION saves!
