This video was genuinely a rant so here are the key points that I go over so you can follow my train of logic:

1) Generic Extra Deck cards are necessary because Konami prints entire archetypes (War Rocks, Nemleria, Vanquish Soul, Labrynth) with no Extra Deck monsters all the time.

2) Generic omni negates are needed because of generic removal. If you only play monster negates you will always get wiped by Dark Hole and Lightning Storm, and if you always play S/T negates you will always get wiped by Black Rose Dragon.

3) A meta where generic extra deck monsters are removed and everyone relies on backrow for interaction will not be a meta you like better. It will be the exact same issue of seeing the same cards every game it will just be traps that annoy you instead of monsters, see also Duel Links.

4) Games not ending on turn 1 or turn 2 does not make the overall play experience better for anyone.
