This Genesis/Megadrive gem is an unrelenting force in the side scrolling beat em up genre. It is a ruler by which many other games are measured and was one of the pioneers of 16 bit hack and slash action. This is my ode to you, Golden Axe. Fare thee well, long withered friend.
