The Crew 1 has been shut down on March 31, 2024. I spent the final 3 weeks of the game recording as many things as I could, so that people will still be able to see what they were like in the future. One thing that I recorded were runs on all 77 PvP race tracks. Here you can see the Street spec track "Sprint for St. Louis" in the Midwest region.

Timeline:
0:00 Track Intro
0:17 Sprint for St. Louis (without cut)
3:54 Sprint for St. Louis (with cut)
7:30 Cut vs No Cut

Sprint for St. Louis starts in the Central Woods region south-west of St. Louis and then leads into the city. Here you can see a map of the track: https://i.imgur.com/UB8jeCf.png (created by me)

In The Crew 2 the layout of St. Louis was slightly changed, so it's not possible to fully recreate the track in TC2. The beginning and end can be recreated but the entrance to the city would have some completely new corners because the old ones don't exist anymore.

The track has a respawn cut that was discovered by the Japanese top player yukinohi. I was able to record clean runs with and without the cut, so I could even do a side by side comparison. It looks like the cut does save you a little bit of time.

Note that I had hundreds of different things to record in the final weeks of the game, so for most of the PvP tracks I was only able to record basic runs and not do a lot of practice or record all the possible cuts. The first goal was to record an acceptable run on every track and then I returned to some of them for improvements but I wasn't able to do that for many of them before the game shut down. At least there will be a full playlist with a video for every PvP track though, so you will be able to find footage of all of them in one place and in high video quality.

All runs are solo runs, for which I invited my secondary account into a private lobby. I played with gamepad and automatic and I didn't use wheel mode, so that I could show the handling model that most people have been playing the game with.

What are your thoughts on the Sprint for St. Louis track? Did you have any memorable races here? Feel free to share your thoughts and stories about the track in the comments.
