So I tried what SIDWAJ said about getting good with motorfest and challenged his 2"21.2XX on Legendary X Rivalry. Given some points are right; and he has the hours of playtime to back it up but I personally believe not all are necessary. This was all tested in a mere hour after watching his video.
He said you need the following:
1. The Meta Car - Bugatti Centodieci ($2.2M)
2. A specific vanity tire
3. Widebody
4. Certain Driving assist settings
5. Certain dynamic control settings
6. A full Nitro Chemist set
7. All Pure / Extra Pump
8. A Certain Audio Signature / Engine "swap"
9. Certain ARB/Camber pro settings
10. Certain tuning settings
11. Certain camera view
12. Use only HALF of the NOS TANK
Here is my attempt using only the following:
1. The cheapest AWD Bugatti Hypercar ($1.6M)
2. Widebody
3. Certain Driving assist settings
4. Certain Dynamic control settings
5. All pure / extra pump (epic / legendary)
6. Certain ARB/Camber Pro settings
7. Certain camera view
8. Use the ENTIRE NOS TANK
Honestly, my attempt favors more for a casual player who couldn't grind as much. Also the EB110 SS is the lightest Bugatti ever and can handle more technical sections better than the Centodieci, even if the latter has better acceleration because 7 gears.
Also, the thing mentioned in "dumb anime theories" of Initial D, such as exit-oriented gutter runs, actually work here. You don't have to gutter through the entire corner; half or the latter half is fine/better but it depends on the car if it understeers or oversteers. Granted, there is no shame following the racing line. But after a few attempts, it becomes second nature; I just follow the racing line for braking points.
Additional tip: If you wish to do this in a non-AWD hypercar, set the TCS to Comfort. AWD Hypercars like Bugattis favor Sport settings better because, well, they're AWDs.
