Through Modding, (LONG OVERDUE MODDING) The Pistol is Back in DOOM Eternal, after iD Software removed the ability to use it even with commands so long ago.

The Pistol still sucks as does any DOOM Pistol that isn't the DOOM 2016 Multiplayer one or a Modded one, but it's alright that's what Modding's for, to improve things, which is why in this video the Pistol is one shotting Barons and Tyrants. Been messing with the damage, fire rate, and other values for the sake of getting the pistol to have a good place in the arsenal both in Campaign and Multiplayer (yes Multiplayer, yes I play it, not vanilla Battlemode, Modded because that's where the fun is at).

Also if you're wondering why Counter Strike 2 is featured here, that's because I've been having fun with that game recently and I based my modifications for the Eternal Pistol around CS's Deagle, and in that game the Deagle's inaccurate unless you're firing at the same rate as the BPM for Stayin Alive, so figured why not use the song for the Pistol's Return.

That being said I am not the one who brought the Pistol back, that would be Nayrham and Zwip, I'm only modding it to be good and not trash (also fixing some things along the way).

Quick Tutorial for Installing since some people have trouble with it:
- Download the Pistol Mod and overrides (generated) (pistol) ONLY (the other stuff is for Custom AI stuff)
- Place the Pistol.zip file in your Mods folder
- As for the overrides you downloaded, find the folder called generated
- Create a new folder in the base folder of DOOM Eternal called overrides (you find this on steam by going to Properties - Installed Files - Browse)
- Place the generated folder inside the overrides folder you created
- Run the EternalModInjector.bat (assuming you have that all set up)
- If the game crashes when trying to use the Pistol, just open the game again through steam and try it again until it works, this is not the most stable Mod for some reason.

Do be warned, that version of the pistol is rather incomplete and has a few animations missing or not working which I am currently working on fixing (Mostly by borrowing assets from the Heavy Cannon and asking Nayrham for help).
