The FUNDAMENTAL FLAW Of Modern Mortal Kombat
2,445Once upon a time there was a franchise called Mortal Kombat. A really good series that; despite containing some of the most iconic characters in all of gaming has a modern history of terrible stories. I say no more. There's no reason that Mortal Kombat can't tell good stories, and there's no reason for them to accept mediocrity. The way I see it, as someone who has just recently gotten into modern Mortal Kombat, removing the most major handicap holding them back from truly great storytelling is the first step. That being the chapter system. so come Mortal Kombat 12, they need to do away with this to at least give them a slightly better chance at bringing the best out of these games. Here's hoping Ed Boon doesn't come out of the woodwork and rip my head off.
