The House of the Dead 3 is a classic arcade-style rail shooter video game developed by Wow Entertainment and Sega AM1 and published by Sega. It was first released in arcades in 2002, and was later ported to the Xbox in 2003 and the PC in 2005.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, players take on the role of James Taylor or Lisa Rogan, two agents of the AMS agency tasked with investigating a catastrophic event at the Curien Mansion, the site of previous AMS investigations. Armed with light guns, players must shoot their way through hordes of zombies and other mutated creatures to uncover the truth behind the latest outbreak.
The House of the Dead 3 received generally positive reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's intense action, exciting boss battles, and spooky atmosphere.
