In this part, we arrive on Maze Island and take the maze itself. We start on the Beginner course and pay 20 rupees to play. Our goal is to hit the four statues that appear and open the treasure chest all within the time limit, which is fairly easy on beginner. While in the maze, we find a Wisdom Gem and 100 Rupees, we then get the beginner reward which is another Wisdom Gem. Next we tackle the Normal course for 50 rupees, which follows the same rules, but we must hit eight statues instead. After getting through the maze, we get the normal reward which is a Treasure Map. Lastly, we take on the Expert Course for 100 rupees. The rules are again the same, but we must hit all fourteen statues in order to win the expert prize, which is a Heart Container. Once we win all three courses, we are awarded 300 rupees, and we can enter and exit the maze free of charge to get anything we missed, such as another 100 rupees. Afterwards, we salvage a few treasures and arrive at the Isle of the Dead.
