It occurs to me that during the part where I mention inventory space potentially being an issue, you can probably actually get close enough to the other vikings to transfer items.

To expand on a point I kinda started to make during the end credits but stated badly enough that I felt the need to add caption text (a part about "repeating parts of levels" by which I meant "redoing stuff due to dying"; their level design isn't actually particularly repetitive), I can kinda understand why there were no midpoints. I mean, at some point you just have to say you've already divided up the game enough, and also in a game like this it would be pretty hard to even just decide how a midpoint should work. But also every end of a level is kinda like a midpoint. Still, I think on tough levels it did lead to a little more repetition than is actually fun.

So yeah. R-Type III next. Looking forward to it.
