I'm super excited for the premiere of The Mist on TV. The Mist is one of my favorite horror movies of the past ten years, and I also think it is one of the most underrated. It's going to be interesting to see how such a story can be adapted to a television series.

It'll also be interesting to see if they wind up taking it closer to the book or the movie ending. Although I think the movie's ending is what solidified it as a modern classic, the book's ending is much more conducive to the lengthy nature of a television series.

Ultimately, it seems that The Mist TV series is strongly investing in making it more about the characters than the monsters, which in my opinion is what stronger horror stories are based on and is a major part of what made the book and the movie so compelling. Hopefully, it translates well to TV.
