In Red Dead Redemption 2, there’s one particular stranger mission that can be started at this location, and that involves assisting Hamish Sinclair, a disabled veteran who had lost his right leg in the american civil war, with various tasks around his peaceful lakeside home. However, in the unforgiving world of RDR2, this moment of respite is short-lived, making the completion of The Veteran mission as Arthur Morgan all the more heartbreaking. While it provides some of RDR2's most heartwarming encounters up to that point, it also makes Arthur Morgan's already tragic death even more depressing by introducing one particular element to it.
