However, unlike Contra where everything is doom and gloom, Balacera Brothers dials up the laughs by having a pair of blues brothers go toe to toe with the undead... who also wield guns! Can this fun aesthetic and solid gameplay really compete with the franchise that perfected the formula so many years ago? Who knows. Maybe we'll find out with a little bit of Balacera...
