After three months away, The Golden Bolt's back with an all-new review! Continuing the Genesis Sonic retrospective, I'm looking at 1992's Sonic 2. Often considered one of the greatest games of all time, does Sonic first adventure with his best friend Tails still hold up 25 years later? Let's find out! Also, I have Goldbirb with me. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the second game in the Sonic franchise (obviously!). Released worldwide on "Sonic 2sday," on November 24, 1992, it was the first game of its kind to have a simultaneous worldwide release, and was instrumental in starting the trend of games releasing on Tuesdays.
