The REAL REASON Behind CA Removing Total War Multiplayer Chat
So following the patch Creative Assembly released last week for Napoleon and Empire Total War, I've been thinking about why CA would spend the resources to remove features that launched with these games, what they really mean by their "inability to moderate chat" or the "outdated technologies" associated with them.
In this video I run through 2 theories as to why CA has been doing the MP Chat removal for it's "legacy" games and specifically how from a business perspective it might make sense for CA to essentially replace their current older systems with a completely new proprietary platform.
Of course all of this is speculation, but if such a thing did happen there would be some pretty crazy consequences for Total War games, Total War mods and the Total War community.
I hope you enjoyed the video and found it informative, please do leave a like and let me know what you think about the theories I've discussed today and why you think CA has been slowly removing MP chat from their older games!
