This Fortnite season ruined Fortnite competitive… FOREVER
There have been MANY bad Fortnite seasons, but there was never a player loss as bad as in Season X.
Many professional players quit the game, like Cloakzy, Rhux, Derox, and many more.
With the loss of these influential players, many up and coming pros followed, resulting in a large drop in prize pool.
This was all because of Epic’s edition of the mechs, unskilled items, and a POI where players could not build
Many of these pros never returned to Fortnite. Some switched games and others just never felt the same love for the game. The pros that did return were never as good as they once were, killing off lots of Fortnite’s audience for the competitive scene.
This made the prize pools plummet even more, turning away players from trying to become pro.
