Resident Evil has had many attempts at finding a foothold in the multiplayer eco-system from Umbrella Corps right through to last years RE:Verse.
As the latter celebrated its anniversary recently I decided to go back and see how healthy the game was in 2023. In doing so it dragged me into a rabbit hole on the wider issues the Resident Evil series faces and how Capcom can find success in the future.
