Wrestling Bios presents The Story of "The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar (2002).

Brock Lesnar made a sudden impact on the WWF when he made his debut the night after WrestleMania X8. Brock had a truly outstanding amateur wrestling career, becoming the NCAA Division 1 Heavyweight Champion in 2000. With his natural athletic pedigree, Brock Lesnar was approached by Vince McMahon and the WWF to begin work as a professional wrestler. Brock signed his WWF contract in 2000, going on to train at OVW with guys like John Cena and Randy Orton in order to sharpen his wrestling skills.

When Brock made his first televised appearances in the WWF, he made people take notice. With Paul Heyman at his side, the "Next Big Thing" completely destroyed everything in his path, leading to a 2002 King of the Ring victory and, in a matter of mere months, Brock Lesnar went to Summerslam where he defeated The Rock to become the WWE Undisputed Champion.

This video takes a look at Brock Lesnar's early WWF / WWE days, from his debut right up to his first WWE championship win. Matches and topics include:
