Battletoads and Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team is the crossover that nobody expected and nobody really asked for, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. While featuring the Double Dragons, this game is absolutely a Battletoads game to the core. The difficulty, the combat system, the changes in gameplay style, and did I mention the difficulty? Regardless of whether you are playing on the NES, SNES, or Genesis, you are in for a rough ride, but there are differences between the versions, so let's take a look at those and find out which version is best or if they are worth checking out at all.
