The Witcher 2 - New Elements
5Countless Xbox 360® role-playing fans came an important step closer to the reality of playing one of the most lauded role-playing games in history today, as CD Projekt RED confirmed the street date for The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition. At its press conference today in Warsaw, Poland, CD Projekt RED announced that two different retail versions of the Xbox 360 adaptation of its award-winning PC RPG, The Witcher 2, will hit store shelves on April 17th 2012.
At the event, members of the CD Projekt RED development team presented the game and the many new features that have been added to create the Xbox 360 enhanced edition.
"The Xbox 360 version is a complete adaptation of the game to the new platform, we've rewritten the code so it feels native to the console. This latest version of The Witcher 2 has been expanded in many ways, and some experts believe it to be one of the best-looking games ever to make it to consoles," said Adam Badowski, head of CD Projekt RED studio.
