The World Outside of Yonkers - Out There Gameplay - Ep. 0 - Let's Play Out There - Out There PC Game
Lost in space? Check. Resource management? Check. Dark Sci-fi storyline? Check. I’m almost embarrassed to say that I didn’t pay much attention to Out There: Omega Edition when it first came out. Totally should have, though, since this rogue-lite/roguelike is right up my alley with its gorgeous visuals and intriguing story. Come and let’s play Out There!

At present, this is not expected to be a full Let's Play Out There series, though if there is enough interest I will run an Out There blind playthrough. Instead, it's a video showing Out There first impressions and an introduction to Out There gameplay (at the end I include a cursory Out There: Omega Edition review). Even after this short video the Out There: Omega Edition seems very interesting and I look forward to playing it either on my own time or with you all watching along. In all, I would very much be interesting in seeing more and expanding this into a fill Let’s Play Out There Blind series!
In this video about Out There: Omega Edition gameplay, we find ourselves lost on the fringes of space, encounter an alien intelligence that sets us on our path, and then hop from star system to star system in a quest to reach some far-off destination. (Yes, there are certainly parallels to No Man’s Sky.) The Out There gameplay is quite interesting, blending games like FTL with more traditional roguelike games to produce an interesting combination. The snippets of story are also compelling to read and experience. So come and join me for some Out There first impressions.
As you can probably tell from the video, I enjoyed my time with the Out There game and the Out There gameplay. Though I’m not a huge fan of roguelikes as a rule (I think they’re over-used), I do enjoy a compelling space game with an interesting plot (even where it’s somewhat random, like here). The Out There game offers everything I find compelling in these kinds of games without overwhelming me with resource management (for now). This is somewhat expected of the out there pc game because it is also available as Out There Android Edition (among other things). I hope you all enjoy the Out There Omega Edition gameplay for what it is (an interesting, though perhaps brief, journey through the stars). So lets play Out There!

What does Mi-Clos say about Out There?
WHAT IS OUT THERE?
Out There is a hard sci-fi space exploration game blending roguelike, resource management and gamebook mechanics.
You are an astronaut awaking from cryonics not in the solar system, but... out there... in a far and unknown place of the galaxy. In Out There, you will have to survive, tinkering your ship with what you can gather drifting in the void, and spot garden planets to refill your oxygen supply.
Space is an hostile place ; dangerous and mysterious adventures will mark each step of your travel. You will not only meet intelligent species that won’t care about you, but also deal with ancient powers linked to your destiny and the fate of mankind itself.
Survival and understanding of what is really at stake in the galaxy is the core of what Out There has to offer.
