They Even Made Shiva Hotter | FINAL FANTASY VII Echo-S - FULLY VOICE ACTED / MODDED - Part 5
4Back 100 years ago when SquareEnix teased the FF7 tech demo on the PS3, the desire for a Final Fantasy 7 remake was fever pitched, and never really relented. Folks were clamoring to hear the music done new from an already legendary OST. To see how modern gameplay and battles would play out with the modular and customizable materia system. Reactions were wild and I remember being pretty excited myself. How cool would it be to see the final Sephiroth battle and FMV cutscenes in full HD?
Now that the FF7 Remake is out, and Rebirth soon to follow, many are realizing those dreams come to fruition. However I still enjoy the original best, so when I heard there was a collection of mods to enhance the original experience as if it was a full blown remaster, or remake depending on your perspective, I was in!
The major highlight of this playthrough was the Echo-S mod done by Tsunamods. Every character, NPC, tutorial, sign, and more is all voice acted. All major players have AAA quality voice overs, and past Disc 1 the NPCs are just as nearly good. On top of this I utilized a software called 7th Heaven to fully mod the character models, a new faithful remastered soundtrack, ambient audio in every zone, improved sound effects, 60fps, full analog movement, and move!
Once all was said and done, this collection made the game feel like new again, and it was what I always wanted from a modernized Final Fantasy 7! Check it out!
