So today I’m going to go through a full 10 minutes of gameplay with you to show you a bit of the essentials of Thrive, the resource gathering mechanics, city building, some of the tech trees and various events that happen and more.

I’ve played about 3 hours of the game so far and I have to say to me it’s like a cross between the Anno games and Age of Empires in that you build a small village that grows into a town and a city and then you can actually send caravans to build new cities nearby, trade and engage with other kingdoms in diplomacy and even wage a bit of war.
