Time for Idol Gacha (Yu Takasaki: Ace Attorney) - NICK54222 Gyakuten Live! Stream (04/27/2024)

Recently, the 3rd episode of Gyakuten Live! (Turnabout Chameleon) has launched. Since I'd like to get moving with doing the episode and with incoming IRL changes at the end of April, we're starting streams for it now. While we have finished the episode last week, I do want to get those in-game gacha characters in full. Unlike with the gacha in the last episode (optional Pokemon plushies), this one is mandatory to complete the episode as two cards are required to be pulled. But I also found that there's different characters depending on which day you're using it. So this stream will focus on this aspect of the game. I don't expect this to be a long stream (much shorter than those last few ones, most of which were at least 5 hours), but if I have some time, I might consider something else I did before the end of the
Ever since I saw @SomeRandomJokesteR playing this game on stream apparently for Christmas, I just had to play this game. And I now it's time I did it on stream. I did say I'd stick to MUGEN for this channel and do other games on another channel, but I haven't gotten around to making a second channel for other games despite my channel having done streams for other games in the past.
For those of you wondering, Gyakuten Live! is a fan-made game by krakelak (krakelak's LL Shackelak on YT: https://www.youtube.com/@krakelaksLLShackelak). It's Love Live!, but in the style of Ace Attorney. And of course, we get to play as Yu Takasaki in this game. However, I've never played the Ace Attorney games prior to this stream aside from some gameplay on my own time. Still, I feel this game will be quite an experience. And BTW, while some of you might want me to see the quotes if I get stuff wrong, I might not do as much as you can't exactly spam save like you would in visual novels. You can, but they only let you continue at certain points. But I will do so to make sure I have plenty of life during the trials.
BTW, this game isn't complete yet. Turnabout Chameleon was just released and three more episodes remain to be developed. However, each episode takes time to be developed, so it'll be some time before we get to Episode 4 (The Expunged Turnabout). Regardless, I cannot wait to experience the rest of this game once those remaining episodes are released.
