Is it even possible to test the Garmin Approach R10 versus the Mevo Plus in a real time comparison to see which one is more accurate? In this video, the Golf Dynasty will be doing exactly that to find out just how good the less expensive launch monitor stacks up to the $1,700 flightscope mevo plus. if you watched the video about me testing a $60,000 commercial simulator versus the R10, you saw that while it performed really well, there were shots that the Garmin had a hard time reading accurately. In that particular video, I had to use balls specially designed for the other simulator which gave me the idea that the Garmin was at a disadvantage considering that It wasnt designed to read those types of balls. Recently, Garmin announced that the Titelist RCT balls specifically designed to be used with golf simulators for increased accuracy were integrated into the R10 launch monitor and I was eager to do a test with the Titelsist RCT balls, the Garmin R10 and a Mevo Plus launch monitor to see if the Garmin is really worth your money.
