In this video we put a lens over Tokyo Ghoul, and open a discourse about how despite it's graphic imagery, and edgy themes, it is in fact not a true horror, and is more closely related to the likes of Naruto or Fairytale.

I go into some detail about what makes a piece of media true horror, and how Tokyo Ghoul falls short. This is not a jab at your favourite anime, but an analytical revision about the themes of horror and their nuances.
