Top 10 Games of 2015
*Edit* Pardon the audio skip during #2s portion. Tried to fix it a number of times but it just won't work. Sorry about that*
Hey everybody! It’s Christmas Day and you know what that means! It’s time for my Top 10 Games of 2015. After a great year of gaming filled with a ton of memorable releases, it’s time to narrow it down to my own personal top 10 favorite games of 2015. What made the list? What was cut? Find out inside.
So what was your game of the year? Do you have a list or a personal favorite? What games are you looking forward to in 2016? Be sure to leave a comment below letting me know what you think but until then....
Thanks for watching
Since I didn’t have a chance to talk about it in the actual video, I’d just like to mention a few of my honorable mentions:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: The Witcher 3 is a fantastic game with a deep story, wonderful characters and tons of things to do and explore. With the plethora of content continuing to be released as time goes on, it remains just as relevant today as it did when it was first released. Though it didn’t make my top 10, had I made a top 11 or 12 it would have easily made the list and is definitely a game I would recommend to anybody.
Rocket League: Rocket League came out of nowhere when it was first released and quickly became one of the most fun and addicting games out there. The only reason it didn’t make the Top 10 is because I prefer the original release to the sequel. That being said, it’s a fantastic game worthy of being played.
Fallout 4: Fallout 4 is a really good game. The story leaves a lot to be desired and some design choices and bugs/gitches do take away from the overall experience, leading to why it didn’t make the top 10, but in terms of hours, I’ve probably put more into Fallout 4 than any other game that was released this year. So that’s got to count for something.
Fran Bow: A wonderful psychological horror point and click adventure game, it’s beautifully designed, creepily vague title that anybody is bound to enjoy. It’s definitely not for the weak of stomach, but definitely one of the best games of the year.
Danganronpa: Another Episode-Ultra Despair Girls: While the gameplay does leave a bit to desired with its repetitive and simplistic nature, from a narrative standpoint and from the point of view of a diehard Danganronpa fan, it’s a fantastic game with great characters, an even better story and a finale that’s as heart wrenchingly exciting and terrifying as it is satisfying.
