Touhou 11 - Subterranean Animism: Extra No Bomb clear (ReimuA)
1Suprisingly, this is my 2nd ExNB. Koishi is...suprisingly easy once you've learned her, as her entire fight could be made much easier by simply knowing the right stratergy and manipulate her movement.
Notable attacks:
10 syllables stab (Sanae S1): Read the laser beforehand, that's it.
Rice spell (Sanae S3): Do what I do. Constant restream every 3 wave for the first part, rush through the rice barrage to NOT have to dodge and misdirect. Easy spell.
Superego/Ego/whatever: Seems like some really difficult criss-cross bullet dodging. That is until you realize that dodging the two "streams" of hearts one by one literally trivialises this, especially for Ego.
For Ego (the blue hearts spell), bottomhug at all costs. Dont lose your ground, otherwise youre literally fucked.
The triple criss-crosssing pink-green-blue bullets spell: Once again, this attack becomes trivial once you realizes that dodging in the center here is the equivalent of sacking yourself. Just go to the sides and push through the gaps aggressively, and boom, trivial spell.
Genetics of the Unconscious: Supposedly a very difficult spell, until you realize 2 things:
1) This spell is not that dense, and the bullet waves comes one by one, so just focusing on one layer at a time is already enough to take care of it
2) Koishi's movement here isn't just simply "Move to corners". Every time she comes down to your corner, she won't just head straight down, but goes a little bit above you, THEN slowly move down.
And that's all it takes for us to be able to manipulate her movement and creates a fuckton of damaging opportunity. If you did it well, you could even kill her within 40s (right before the spin-around-the-screen phase), which saves a lot of time and trouble.
Philosophy of a Hated Person: Dodge the first 2 phases and tank the 3rd, lmao
overall, easy extra boss once learned. Also, I somehow ended up perfecting the entire stage up to the 2nd survival, which is pretty impressive.
with how learnable she is, this ex, while being one of the hardest to clear, is also one of the easiest to no bomb, lmao. Heck, even Okina is harder than this.
