Episode 6: "Plutonium Power, Activate!"

It's stage 6, and being stage 6, the main highlight is the final boss, Utsuho Reiuji. Unlike most final bosses, who had powerful-sounding yet vague abilities, Chernobyl-tan's powers work exactly as advertised--she has the ability to control nuclear fusion. Not fission. Hydrogen-bonding, star-exploding FUSION! And she's not content with simply inconveniencing everyone like most Touhou villains; her goal is world domination. So it's either nuclear holocaust or fry the crow.

Nuclear Fusion - HOLY CRAP! The hardest spellcard in the (normal) game by a wide margin. Pray the little bullets don't screw you over as you slowly chip at her downright obscene lifebar.

Mega Flare - Reminds me of DoDonPachi. What a great game.

Fixed Star - Supposedly you can dodge this entirely horizontally if you position yourself at the correct height. Since I suck at reading the yellow bullets at that angle, however, this is not really an option for me.

Hell and Heaven Meltdown - Ehh, not really as bad as it looks. Need to practice this more...

Hell's Man-made Sun - Well, on the one hand this is an interesting concept...on the other hand, screwing with the controls smacks of fake difficulty. She is literally pulling you up the entire time.

Final Thoughts: I haven't attempted Extra yet, but SA might just be the best in the series. The danmaku is very well designed, and Zun's new cast is very memorable (much more so than MoF's) with Marisa's dialogue being some of the most entertaining in the series. Yes the last two bosses are Battletoads Hard, but like Battletoads, they'll beat you down and leave you going back for more.
